I craft compelling narratives across formats — from breaking news and features to digital content and page design. My reporting has earned SPJ recognition, my designs have won awards from the California News Publishers Association and the Associated Press, and I was part of a newsroom honored with the Pulitzer Prize in 2018.

About me

I'm a versatile and adaptable storyteller with a background in award-winning journalism and a passion for clarity and creativity. My work has been recognized with honors from SPJ, AP, and CNPA, and I’ve been part of editorial teams that earned a Pulitzer Prize and multiple AP awards. I've worked across news, sports, business, and features — always focused on making content accurate, engaging, and accessible.

In addition to journalism, I’m also a published poet with work in Pigeon Pages, Kissing Dynamite, and Foglifter. I hold an MFA in creative writing and have a deep love for all forms of art.

When I’m not writing or editing, I’m planning my next trip or hunting down my next meal. I’m a longtime gamer (especially anything with zombies), and a proud supporter of Liverpool FC and the English Premier League.
